Bangladesh Govt has a target to achieve 5 Billion USD export from IT and ITES sector. To materialize this target, International Market Development Committee of BASIS( Bangladesh Association of Software and Information Services) is working on strategic formulation,policy-making and collaborating with the international organizations for the promotion of Bangladeshi ICT industry. I am working here as the Co Chiarman since May 2018.

Japan is one of the promising markets for the IT/ITES companies of Bangladesh. In recent years, Bangladesh Govt has also given an enormous importance to Japan market for the increase of the export revenue of the ICT companies of Bangladesh. To speed up the process and to provide policy and strategic support Bangladesh Association of Software and Information Services(BASIS) has formed a special focus group named ‘Japan Focus Group’ and I am acting as a convenor of this Japan Focus Group.
